How far away from campus are we?

Our apartments are less than 5 minutes from campus, making it incredibly convenient for residents to attend classes, access campus facilities, and engage in various academic and extracurricular activities.

What student features does The Landing have?

Our student apartments include a variety of features and amenities for any Purdue University student. These include open study room, free printing, free WiFi, bus access to campus, 24-hour fitness center, and so much more.

What are rental installments? Why is my rent not prorated?

A rental installment is a payment made as part of a series of payments. To simplify the billing process, the entire sum of the housing contract is divided into equal installments. Instead of reducing the first installment and increasing the remaining installments, all installments are equal. These installments are factored into the start and end dates of the lease, including proration.

How do I pay my rent and when is it due?

Rent is due the first of each month and may be paid online by ACH, debit card, or credit card through the resident portal, or by check or money order at the leasing office. No cash is accepted. Convenience fees may apply for online payments, and late fees vary by property. Refer to your housing contract for complete details.

What if I need something repaired in my apartment?

Our onsite professional maintenance team is available to help with repair requests. Residents may submit a service request through the online resident portal, email the community, or contact the office during business hours. Emergency maintenance assistance is available 24 hours a day for urgent issues such as major leaks, lock problems, loss of utilities, or heating and cooling emergencies.

What should I bring to my new apartment?

Residents should bring additional appliances such as toasters and blenders, along with cleaning and laundry supplies. The community recommends coordinating with future roommates to determine which household items can be shared.

Are the apartments furnished?

No, the apartments come unfurnished, giving residents the flexibility to create a space that fits their personal style. For added convenience, The Landing partners with CORT Furniture to provide furniture rental packages for residents who would like a furnished living experience.
